Tackling the Teenage Crisis
The day the child realizes that all adults are imperfect, he becomes an adolescent; the day he forgives them, he becomes an adult; the day he forgives himself, he becomes wise… Alden Nowlan India is called a young nation today because every third person in an indian city is a youth who is eager to learn, advance & elevate. We all know that as per the laws of nature we live our lives through various stages such as infancy, childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and old age. Of these life stages,the most adventurous and interesting stage is adolescence which represents an inner emotional upheaval, a struggle between the eternal human wish to cling to the past and the equally powerful wish to get on with the future.It’s indeed a very critical phase in life of every human being because in this phase,there is intense growth not only physically but also morally, cognitively, emotionally and intellectually.Hence,in this stage of life it is quite essential that parents or elders or peers provide adolescents proper guidance, support and create an environment to facilitate their holistic development.
Spirituality is the Only Solution for Society
There is an urgent need to cleanse the society of crime and fostering a culture of spirituality. Recently the news of brutal murder of an 88 year old woman by her own grandson jolted the entire society and has once again raised the issue of safety and security of senior citizens and women who are vulnerable even in broad daylight. Looking at news papers of major metro cities, it is clearly evident that attacks on the aged have increased enormously in the last couple of years. In most of these cases, culprits have been their long-trusted domestic helps who robbed them of their life savings and did not spare them either. Similarly, incidents of abuse and criminal assault against women have also been shamefully high in number. Again, on most of these cases, the culprits were found to be known to the victim, and were their relatives, friends or someone they trusted. There is no surprise that such incidents get media attention for a while but little comes out of it. There is little relief for the relatives of
